Medical assistant who can operate as lead in dealing with medical technological equipment, electronic medical record management and patient documentation. You will be part of a medical clinic who focuses on technical management, functionally, usage and understanding of telemedicine software while provide first class support to those patients being seen by a network of specialist. We are seeking individuals who have worked in clinical environments, handle and/ or been trained in the usage of technical equipment.



 
  • Connect and conduct specialist visits involving medical probes while building a strong relationship with all parties through the patient’s visit.
  • Interview patients to obtain their medical history, vital statistics and test results in patients’ medical files.
  • Perform routine screening tests.
  • Maintains supplies and equipment in patient treatment rooms.
  • Participate as the clinics point of contact during all telemedicine visits.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationship with all medical and specialty staff.

The RN Quality Assurance Manager is a vital member of the clinical team and works with the executives, providers and staff to monitor and the clinic's quality improvement plan in order to deliver patient care in accordance with nationally accepted guidelines, policies and procedures to achieve the health center's goals and objectives in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Works closely with the Chief Medical Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Clinic Administrators, departmental managers, and clinical staff to provide leadership for organization-wide efforts to continuously improve the safety, effectiveness, efficiency, patient-centeredness, equity, and timeliness of health care service to all patients.


 
  • Knowledge of NCQA, URAC, OSHA, HIPAA, FTCA and other quality and compliance governing board regulations, as well as CMS standards, State statutes and others as required.
  • Develops Quality program for ELA Health and teaches, guides and supports internal department in the creation of same and develops reporting cycles for all departments’ submission of quarterly reports to QA.
  • Act as co-chair of quality committee as required in absence of Chief Medical Officer.
  • Excellent working knowledge of clinical operations, including knowledge of regulations and laws pertaining to patient care, in a specialty, behavioral, primary and integrative care environment as a Registered Nurse or similar degree/licensed in State as needed.
  • Advanced working knowledge of clinical regulations, quality standards, process work flow efficiencies, and use of data analysis tools and software.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data required for state and federal reporting, staff education, and process improvement.
  • Develops, manages, reviews and implements policy and procedures that pertain to clinical efficiency, patient engagement, and regulatory practices.
  • Develops and Implements a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program that is adhered to.





• Education: Bachelor’s degree is required.

• Experience: 2-4 years of related experience.
 

• Experience with NCQA, CMS, HIPAA, OSHA, PCMH: 2-4 years.
